College Football Week 4 is giving bettors a very different board than we saw last week.
The biggest spread move is already four points. Several underdogs are attracting a fraction of the tickets but the majority of the money. And some of the most interesting games have the current betting handle pointing one direction while the line itself has moved the other way.
That’s where this week’s board gets interesting.
Utah has dropped four points against Iowa State. Mississippi State has steamed from -3 to -6.5. Oregon is attracting only 35% of spread tickets against USC but 91% of the money. And UTEP has just 17% of the tickets against Oregon State while taking 85% of the spread handle.
Below, CLEATZ breaks down the biggest Week 4 line moves, the largest gaps between bets and money, and the markets worth following through kickoff.
Updated: Tuesday, September 22, 2026
The current CLEATZ board includes 51 games with public betting splits and 71 games on the Week 4 lines board. Percentages and prices will continue changing as Saturday approaches.
Four Markets Telling the Week 4 Story
The biggest move, strongest money gaps and most interesting disagreements between betting action and the market.
Utah at Iowa State
Four points toward Iowa State even though current handle remains heavily concentrated on Utah.
Oregon State at UTEP
UTEP has the larger-money side and the spread has moved from +12.5 to +10.5.
Oklahoma at Georgia Under
The total has dropped from 45.5 to 43.5 while bigger money concentrates on the Under.
Missouri at Mississippi State
Biggest College Football Week 4 Line Moves
Week 4 already has multiple moves of three points or more.
Utah-Iowa State leads the board with a four-point adjustment, while Mississippi State has moved 3.5 points against Missouri. Several totals have also shifted three full points since opening.
| Matchup | Opening | Current | Move |
|---|---|---|---|
| Utah @ Iowa State | Utah -11.5 | Utah -7.5 | 4 pts toward Iowa State |
| Missouri @ Mississippi State | MSST -3 | MSST -6.5 | 3.5 pts toward MSST |
| Vanderbilt @ Auburn | Total 52.5 | 55.5 | 3 pts Over |
| Nebraska @ Michigan State | Total 51.5 | 48.5 | 3 pts Under |
| James Madison @ Old Dominion | Total 47.5 | 44.5 | 3 pts Under |
| South Carolina @ Alabama | Total 51.5 | 54.5 | 3 pts Over |
| Oregon @ USC | Oregon -5.5 | Oregon -3 | 2.5 pts toward USC |
| Oklahoma @ Georgia | Total 45.5 | 43.5 | 2 pts Under |
| Wisconsin @ Penn State | PSU -11.5 | PSU -9.5 | 2 pts toward Wisconsin |
| Kansas State @ Cincinnati | Total 53.5 | 55.5 | 2 pts Over |
The Utah move is particularly interesting because current betting splits still show 64% of spread tickets and 90% of spread handle on Utah -7.5, even after the market fell four points from -11.5.
In other words, the current money likes Utah — but the larger move from the opening number has been toward Iowa State.
Where the Week 4 Spread Money Is Concentrated
Raw handle percentage shows which sides currently control the largest share of dollars wagered.
And this week’s list isn’t just a parade of big favorites.
| Side | Current Spread | Handle |
|---|---|---|
| Northern Illinois | +10 at Georgia State | 97% |
| Georgia Tech | -3.5 at Stanford | 95% |
| Iowa | +5.5 at Michigan | 95% |
| Sam Houston | +34.5 at Texas Tech | 95% |
| UMass | -4.5 at Sacramento State | 95% |
| Boise State | -7 at Western Michigan | 91% |
| Oregon | -3 at USC | 91% |
| Utah | -7.5 at Iowa State | 90% |
| Ole Miss | +3.5 at Florida | 88% |
| Wisconsin | +9.5 at Penn State | 87% |
Four of the ten biggest spread-handle positions are underdogs, including Iowa +5.5, Sam Houston +34.5, Ole Miss +3.5 and Wisconsin +9.5.
But handle percentage by itself doesn’t tell the whole story.
The more useful numbers are the games where ticket count and money strongly disagree.
Biggest Week 4 Bets vs. Money Gaps
A large difference between bet percentage and handle percentage means the average wager on one side is substantially larger.
It doesn’t prove professional action. It does tell us where a relatively small number of wagers are accounting for a disproportionately large percentage of the money.
Week 4 has some enormous gaps.
| Market | Bets | Handle | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Central Michigan +41.5 | 10% | 78% | +68 |
| UTEP +10.5 | 17% | 85% | +68 |
| Cincinnati +6.5 | 18% | 82% | +64 |
| Wisconsin-PSU Under 44.5 | 22% | 86% | +64 |
| Oklahoma-Georgia Under 43.5 | 33% | 96% | +63 |
| Wisconsin +9.5 | 28% | 87% | +59 |
| Nebraska -5.5 | 20% | 79% | +59 |
| Iowa-Michigan Under 37.5 | 38% | 96% | +58 |
| Oregon -3 | 35% | 91% | +56 |
| Texas-Tennessee Under 55.5 | 27% | 73% | +46 |
Those are the numbers I want to build the Week 4 report around.
Oregon State-UTEP: One of the Cleanest Week 4 Signals
Oregon State is getting most of the tickets.
The money is telling a completely different story.
UTEP +10.5 currently has:
- 17% of spread tickets
- 85% of spread handle
That’s a 68-percentage-point difference.
And unlike some money gaps, the movement of the line supports the underdog. UTEP opened around +12.5 and is now +10.5 — a two-point adjustment toward the Miners.
Prediction markets aren’t suggesting UTEP is likely to win outright. Kalshi currently puts Oregon State around 78% to win.
That’s not the point.
The interesting signal is the relationship between spread tickets, spread money and the spread itself.
Most bettors are laying the points with Oregon State.
Most of the money is taking the points with UTEP.
And the market has moved toward UTEP.
That’s a Week 4 game worth monitoring.
Cincinnati Is Getting the Money – Kansas State Is Getting the Tickets
Kansas State-Cincinnati has another massive disagreement.
Kansas State -6.5 currently owns 82% of spread tickets.
Cincinnati +6.5 owns 82% of the spread handle.
| Side | Bets | Handle |
|---|---|---|
| Kansas State -6.5 | 82% | 18% |
| Cincinnati +6.5 | 18% | 82% |
That’s a 64-point handle-minus-ticket gap on Cincinnati.
The prediction markets still favor Kansas State outright at roughly 68%, so this isn’t a market saying Cincinnati should necessarily win.
It is saying the larger average spread wagers currently favor the Bearcats.
The total has also moved from 53.5 to 55.5, with the current tracked tickets and money both sitting on the Over.
Wisconsin-Penn State Has Three Different Stories
This might be my favorite market to watch this week because the spread, total and moneyline are all telling us something different.
Spread
Wisconsin +9.5 has:
28% of tickets
87% of spread handle
The line has also moved from Penn State -11.5 to -9.5.
So the spread money and the spread movement currently agree: both have shifted toward Wisconsin.
Total
Here’s where things get weird.
Under 44.5 has just 22% of tickets but 86% of the money.
Yet the total has actually moved up from 42.5 to 44.5.
That is a significant disagreement between the current handle and the move from the opener.
Moneyline
Penn State is getting 97% of the moneyline tickets.
Wisconsin +295 is getting 75% of the money.
Again: a small number of wagers are accounting for a disproportionately large share of the dollars on Wisconsin.
There is a lot going on in this game.

Lines and betting percentages refresh throughout the week.
Nebraska-Michigan State: Spread Money and Under Money
Nebraska-Michigan State has two separate signals worth tracking.
On the spread, Nebraska -5.5 is getting only 20% of the tickets but 79% of the money.
That’s a 59-point gap.
On the total, Under 48.5 has:
33% of tickets
89% of handle
The total has dropped three points from 51.5 to 48.5.
Unlike Wisconsin-Penn State, the total money and the market movement are pointing in the same direction here.
That makes Nebraska-Michigan State one of the cleaner total setups on the Week 4 board.
Oklahoma-Georgia Under Is Getting Hammered by Bigger Money
Georgia-Oklahoma is another example where the ticket count doesn’t tell the whole story.
The majority of total wagers are actually on the Over.
Over 43.5: 67% bets / 4% handle
Under 43.5: 33% bets / 96% handle
And the total has fallen from 45.5 to 43.5.
That’s a 63-point gap between Under tickets and Under money, with a two-point line move in the same direction.
Georgia itself is a much less dramatic spread story: 66% of bets and 61% of handle are currently laying approximately two touchdowns with the Bulldogs.
For this matchup, the total is clearly the more interesting market.
Oregon-USC Is a Genuine Market Conflict
Oregon-USC is one of the biggest games of the week — and one of the strangest markets.
Oregon -3 currently has only 35% of spread tickets but 91% of spread handle.
That’s a 56-point money gap.
Prediction markets are also relatively consistent, putting Oregon around 59%-60% to win outright.
But here’s the problem:
Oregon opened around -5.5.
The Ducks are now only -3.
So despite the overwhelming current handle on Oregon, the spread has moved 2.5 points toward USC from the opener.
That’s not something I’d explain away.
It’s something I’d monitor.
If Oregon continues taking the majority of the money and the number refuses to climb back above -3, that disagreement becomes one of the more interesting signals on Saturday’s board.
Mississippi State Is Week 4’s Cleanest Steam Move
Not every game is complicated.
Mississippi State opened around -3 against Missouri.
The Bulldogs are now approximately -6.5.
Current betting splits show:
62% of spread tickets
99% of spread handle
That’s a 37-point money gap, accompanied by a massive 3.5-point move in the same direction.
Tickets like Mississippi State.
Money likes Mississippi State even more.
And the market has moved aggressively toward Mississippi State.
That’s about as straightforward as a Week 4 market gets.
Texas-Tennessee: The Week 4 Marquee Game
No. 1 Texas heads to No. 14 Tennessee in one of the biggest games on the Saturday slate.
The spread market is surprisingly balanced.
Texas -5.5 currently has 59% of tickets but only 50% of the handle, while Tennessee +5.5 has 41% of bets and the other 50% of the money.
Prediction markets are similarly consistent across providers, pricing Texas around 65%-67% to win outright.
The more interesting market may be the total.
Over 55.5 has 73% of tickets but only 27% of the money.
Under 55.5 has just 27% of tickets but 73% of handle.
That’s a 46-point gap on the Under.
The spread is getting the headlines.
The total may be telling the better market story.
Iowa-Michigan: The Public Likes Iowa — The Bigger Total Money Likes the Under
Iowa +5.5 isn’t exactly a contrarian side.
The Hawkeyes currently have 90% of spread tickets and 95% of spread handle.
But the total presents a very different split.
Over 37.5:
62% tickets / 4% handle
Under 37.5:
38% tickets / 96% handle
That’s a 58-point gap on the Under.
One wrinkle: Michigan has moved from approximately -4.5 to -5.5 despite nearly all of the current spread money sitting on Iowa.
Another market disagreement worth following.
Five CFB Week 4 Markets We’re Watching Through Kickoff
1. Oregon State at UTEP
UTEP +10.5 has only 17% of tickets but 85% of the money, and the spread has moved two points toward the Miners.
2. Wisconsin at Penn State
Wisconsin +9.5 owns 87% of spread handle despite only 28% of tickets, while Penn State has fallen from -11.5 to -9.5. The total is simultaneously showing heavy Under money despite moving higher.
3. Oregon at USC
Only 35% of bettors are laying the points with Oregon, but those wagers account for 91% of the handle. The spread has nevertheless dropped from Oregon -5.5 to -3.
4. Oklahoma at Georgia
Under 43.5 has 33% of tickets but 96% of the money, and the total has moved from 45.5 to 43.5.
5. Missouri at Mississippi State
Mississippi State has steamed from -3 to -6.5 while taking 99% of spread handle.
Track College Football Week 4 Live
These are Tuesday morning numbers, not closing numbers.
College football markets can change dramatically as limits increase later in the week. Ticket percentages move. Handle percentages move. Injuries and weather enter the equation. And one large wager can dramatically alter an early-week split on a lower-volume game.
That’s why the Week 4 report should be treated as a market snapshot, not a static prediction.
