The age check during signup
The CLEATZ capture shows a date-of-birth field and a 21+ requirement. An app-store content-age label is not permission to open a trading account.
Enter your own accurate information throughout verification. Review documents only through the official app or support process; never post identity documents or verification codes in a public comment. Our Novig review shows additional signup screens.
What changes when you travel?
Novig says location takes precedence over residency. In an excluded state, new orders, deposits and withdrawals are unavailable, while existing positions settle normally. A resident of an excluded state may trade from an eligible location if other requirements are satisfied.
Before a trip, review any open positions and whether you may need account access during the event. Do not assume the place where you registered determines what you can do while away. Keep a record of order confirmations so you can distinguish a submitted order from one that actually filled.
Why might the app block access?
Novig checks device location and requires location permissions. A failed location check can therefore block an otherwise eligible user. Contact support if the app’s result conflicts with your actual location.
- Read the exact message. Location, identity, payment and account-review issues call for different responses.
- Check the official requirements. Confirm the app’s current eligibility screen against the policy linked above.
- Review device permissions. Follow the app’s instructions for location access.
- Ask support to resolve discrepancies. Include the error text and app version; send sensitive information only through a secure official channel.
Do not change identity details or try to disguise your location to get around a restriction.
Trading access and bonus eligibility are separate
Being able to open an account does not establish eligibility for every promotion. A campaign can have its own qualifying action, deadline and credit-use rules. Check those before making a deposit specifically to claim an offer.

Is Novig a sportsbook or a prediction market?
Novig describes its current product as a federally regulated sports event-contract exchange. Its product documentation distinguishes that model from state-licensed sportsbook wagering. Do not use another app’s sportsbook availability map as a substitute for Novig’s access policy.
Availability questions
Does installing the app prove I can trade?
No. Downloading software and passing account eligibility checks are different steps. Complete the checks before planning around a trade or promotion.
Can a welcome offer override a restriction?
No. A code or referral link does not replace age, identity or location checks.
What should I do if this page and the app disagree?
