How To Read The TD Board

• Player — tap any row to expand the red-zone drawer (see below).
• Pos — the player’s position, color-coded: RB, WR, TE, QB. Anytime touchdown spans every position, so the badge helps you read the kind of scorer you’re betting — a goal-line back, a red-zone target, or a rushing quarterback.
• Anytime TD — the best available “yes” price across your sportsbooks, with the book offering it. Tap to go straight to that market. This is the highest payout on the board for that scorer, already shopped for you.
• Implied — the de-vigged probability the player scores, with the bookmaker’s margin removed. It’s the market’s honest read on his chances. Compare it to the price you’re being offered: when a book pays more than the implied probability says it should, that’s where the value is.

The board sorts by implied probability, so the likeliest scorers sit at the top and the longshots at the bottom.

Reading the Red-Zone Drawer

Touchdowns are a low-frequency, opportunity-driven event — you can’t bet them off yards alone. The drawer surfaces the four things that actually predict scoring:

• Season TDs — total touchdowns scored (rushing + receiving) this season.
• RZ touches — red-zone carries plus targets inside the opponent’s 20. This is raw scoring opportunity, the single best predictor of touchdowns.
• Team RZ touch % — the player’s share of his team’s red-zone touches. A back with 45% of his team’s red-zone work is in a different tier than one splitting it three ways, even if their season TD totals look similar.
• Team RZ target % — his share of the team’s red-zone targets specifically, which is how receivers and tight ends score. A high red-zone target share is the receiver’s version of goal-line carries.
• TD game log — the last several games, week by week: touchdowns, targets, carries, and rushing yards, so you can see whether the opportunity is trending up or drying up.

The two share numbers are the point. A player who owns his team’s red-zone work has a structural path to the end zone every week; a player who merely has touchdowns may have gotten them on volume that isn’t repeatable.

How to Bet Anytime Touchdown Props

Scoring a touchdown comes down to two questions: how many times will this player touch the ball where touchdowns happen, and how many touchdowns will his team score at all. Work them in order:

Red-zone and goal-line opportunity. Start in the drawer. Red-zone touches and team red-zone share tell you who’s getting the high-value looks. A goal-line back with a big share of his team’s inside-the-5 carries is the cleanest anytime-TD bet in football; a committee back who cedes those carries is a trap, no matter his yardage.

Team scoring environment. A touchdown needs the team to reach the end zone in the first place. The higher a team’s implied total (from the game’s spread and total), the more trips to the red zone, and the more anytime-TD equity for everyone who touches the ball there. Favorites in high-total games are where scorers cluster; heavy underdogs in low-total games are where touchdowns dry up.

Position and role. Read the badge. Goal-line and workhorse RBs score on volume near the stripe. WRs and TEs score on red-zone targets, so their target share matters more than their carries. Mobile QBs are live anytime-TD bets on designed runs and sneaks — but remember a quarterback only cashes by running or catching a touchdown, not throwing one.

Game script. Script cuts both ways for touchdowns. A favorite pulling away feeds its backs goal-line carries; a trailing team throwing to catch up feeds its receivers red-zone targets. Match the scorer to the script you expect.

Matchup. Some defenses bend in the red zone and some stiffen. A soft red-zone defense lifts every scorer on the other side; an elite one suppresses them. (Scout the matchup alongside the player’s own usage — opportunity plus a generous defense is the strongest combination.)

Then shop. Once you’ve landed on a scorer, take the best number. On plus-money props the price gap between books is large and it compounds — the board’s best-price column is doing the work most bettors skip.

Finding Value In TD Props

A good price is one that pays more than the player’s true chance of scoring. Two tells the board gives you:

1. Best price vs. implied probability. The Implied column is the de-vigged, no-margin probability. Convert the best available price to its own implied chance and compare: when the price you can get implies a lower probability than the board’s fair number — i.e., it pays more than it should — you’re getting the better of it. That gap is the edge, and shopping is what captures it.
2. Price dispersion. When books disagree on the same “yes” (+210 vs. +260), the better number is free money on an identical bet. Anytime-TD markets disperse more than yardage markets because they’re plus-money and books shade them differently, so the shop pays off harder here.

A note on honesty: implied probability is the market’s estimate, not a guarantee, and touchdowns are high-variance — even a 45% scorer fails to score more than half the time. The durable edge on this page isn’t picking winners, it’s consistently taking the best price on scorers whose red-zone opportunity justifies the bet.
