College Football Week 10 is becoming a battle between public tickets, bigger underdog wagers and a wave of heavy Under money.
Boston College +6.5 is attracting only 26% of spread bets against Florida State but 92% of the money. Virginia Tech +6.5 has just 33% of tickets at SMU but 96% of handle. And several totals have enormous money gaps, led by South Florida-East Carolina Under 39.5.
Below, we’re using the live CFB public betting splits, college football lines, Odds Movers and CFB weather to isolate the Week 10 markets worth watching.

Three Numbers Worth Knowing
Boston College +6.5
Only one-quarter of the tickets, but nearly all of the spread money.
Miami at Notre Dame
Miami has the money, while Notre Dame has moved from -6 to -7.5.
USF-ECU Under 39.5
The total has also fallen sharply with rain in the forecast.
Notable Week 10 Line Moves
| Matchup | Open | Current | Move |
|---|---|---|---|
| TCU @ Arizona | ARIZ -9.5 | -7.5 | 2 pts toward TCU |
| TCU @ Arizona | Total 43.5 | 45.5 | 2 pts Over |
| Miami @ Notre Dame | ND -6 | -7.5 | 1.5 pts toward ND |
| Miami @ Notre Dame | Total 57.5 | 55.5 | 2 pts Under |
| South Florida @ East Carolina | ECU -1.5 | -2.5 | 1 pt toward ECU |
| Nebraska @ Illinois | Total 50.5 | 49.5 | 1 pt Under |
| New Mexico @ Nevada | Total 37.5 | 36.5 | 1 pt Under |
The biggest story isn’t necessarily the size of the moves this week.
It’s whether those moves agree with where the money is sitting.
Miami-Notre Dame is the clearest example.
Biggest Week 10 Money Gaps
| Market | Bets | Handle | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| USF-ECU Under 39.5 | 20% | 100% | +80 |
| Nebraska-Illinois Under 49.5 | 25% | 93% | +68 |
| Boston College +6.5 | 26% | 92% | +66 |
| Penn State-Washington Under 44.5 | 33% | 98% | +65 |
| UCLA-Minnesota Under 39.5 | 30% | 95% | +65 |
| Virginia Tech +6.5 | 33% | 96% | +63 |
| Auburn -10 | 40% | 99% | +59 |
| Mississippi State -3 | 33% | 89% | +56 |
The theme is obvious again:
Bigger total wagers are heavily concentrated on Unders.
But the spread board now has two particularly strong dog-money positions in Boston College and Virginia Tech.
Florida State-Boston College: Bigger Money Wants the Dog
Florida State -6.5 has:
74% of spread tickets
8% of spread handle
Boston College +6.5 has:
26% of tickets
92% of handle
That’s a 66-point handle-minus-ticket gap toward Boston College.
The outright market is even more extreme.
Boston College has just 27% of moneyline tickets but 97% of the moneyline handle around +200.
Prediction markets still make Florida State roughly a 69%-70% favorite to win.
So this isn’t necessarily an upset call.
The bigger disagreement is over whether Florida State deserves to be laying nearly a touchdown.
Miami-Notre Dame: The Money and the Line Still Disagree
Miami +7.5 currently has:
75% of spread tickets
82% of spread handle
Yet the market has moved:
Notre Dame -6 → -7.5
That’s classic reverse movement.
The total adds another layer.
Under 55.5: 38% bets / 70% handle
And the total has fallen:
57.5 → 55.5
So we have two different signals:
Spread money → Miami
Spread movement → Notre Dame
Total money → Under
Total movement → Under
That makes Miami-Notre Dame one of the most useful Week 10 games to follow through kickoff.
South Florida-East Carolina: The Biggest Total Disagreement
This has become the strongest total-money story on the board.
Over 39.5: 80% bets / 0% handle
Under 39.5: 20% bets / 100% handle
The CFB Weather Report adds more context.
The current board shows the total falling dramatically from approximately:
45.5 → 39.5
And the Greenville forecast currently includes an 86% rain chance around kickoff, with extremely high humidity.
This is one of the cleaner Week 10 cases where:
Under money + falling total + weather concerns
are all pointing in the same direction.

Week 10 Weather Watch
Weather isn’t a dominant theme across the entire slate, but two totals stand out.
South Florida-East Carolina: Rain chances are elevated around kickoff, and the total has fallen from roughly 45.5 to 39.5.
Air Force-Army: The total has dropped from approximately 49.5 to 45.5, with rain chances rising during the game and gusts around 19 mph.
The important point isn’t that rain automatically means Under.
It’s whether the betting market is already pricing those conditions in.
Week 10 Playoff Context
The latest College Football Playoff Projections now have Miami No. 1, Georgia No. 2, Utah No. 3 and UCLA No. 4 receiving projected byes.
Notre Dame sits No. 5, followed by Indiana, BYU, Texas, Texas Tech, Ohio State, Kentucky and Boise State.
Ohio State is one of the week’s biggest movers after falling to No. 10 in the projection, while LSU, USC and Alabama lead the current bubble.
That makes games including Miami-Notre Dame, Oregon-Ohio State, BYU-Utah and Georgia-Ole Miss especially relevant beyond the betting board.
Three Week 10 Markets We’re Watching
Boston College +6.5 vs. Florida State: 26% of tickets but 92% of spread handle, plus 97% of BC moneyline money.
Miami +7.5 at Notre Dame: 82% of spread money on Miami while the number continues moving toward Notre Dame.
USF-ECU Under 39.5: Only 20% of tickets but 100% of handle, with the total already down sharply and rain in the forecast.
That’s enough.
The goal isn’t to catalog every game on the slate.
It’s to find the handful of markets where tickets, dollars, line movement and conditions are telling us something worth watching.
